I had a business idea and it was at the stage where it needed funds. I didn't want to borrow money with interest to start a business. That was too risky. What if it failed? Then, I heard about contribution here via a business group I belong to. I joined. But in order to minimize my risk, I asked to take last. That way, I'm using money that's all mine. And because it was mutually poled, I had to stretch to meet the deadlines. This created a routine and helped me develop the habit of savings. I had developed this before but I faltered here and again. But with the contribution, I had to meet up. By the time we were ending and I collected, it actually felt like I was given the money as a gift, plus, I'd never done that amount before. It was a real stretch but I didn't know I could save that much in 10 months. My spending didn’t feel it that much. This is another round, I raised the bar and it's feeling good already!
