MEET OUR PRESIDENT
TINU SMITH
Tinu Smith is an award-winning Nigerian Based fashion designer, and the Chief Executive Officer of Datina Designs Fashion House and Fashion School. She has managed her fashion designing business for over 25 years. She manages Datina - Tibile Fashion Retail outlet stores in Ibadan, which showcases her unique clothing line and her two brand labels Datina Designs and Tinu Smith.
She is a designer whose fashion standards are distinctive and this has carved out a niche for her in the fashion industry. She believes fashion should be Classy, Eclectic and Comfortable which are prominent features of her designs. Her academic background in Communication and Language Arts / Religious Studies accounts for her enviable affability with her clientele and her love for modesty.
She is a Goldmansach scholar from the Educational Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos Business School, where she studied Entrepreneurial Management. She is also an advocate for Women & youth empowerment.
Tinu is an Alumna of Cherie Blair Foundation Road to Growth Women's program in Nigeria. She is also an alumna of Leap Africa. She was one of the 200 women shortlisted all over Africa for the First Cohort of African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative business management program sponsored by Global Centre for Entrepreneurship. She was one of the 100 entrepreneurs shortlisted all over Nigeria for the business management training, sponsored by the Development Bank of Nigeria. She studied business management at the CBN Enterprise Development Centre.
Tinu Smith is a recipient of SheTrades, a businesswomen’s empowerment initiative under the International Trade Centre (ITC) based in Switzerland She is a You-Win awardee of the Federal Government of Nigeria SME Empowerment Program. She is a mentor on YALI Africa, Women In Africa, Wimbiz, Cherie Blair Foundation and Tony Elelumelu Foundation. She has empowered over 10,000 youths with various vocational skills since the inception of her business. She is an official trainer with ITF and a certified Technical University Trainer.
Tinu Smith has been recognized severally by different institutions, both locally and internationally for her contribution to the growth of the fashion industry, women/youth empowerment and community development.
Vice President
Tioluwani Gregory was born and raised in the peaceful city of Ibadan, Oyo state. She had her primary education in All Saints Church School, Ibadan, after which she had her secondary education at Christ Ambassadors International College (2007-2013). She went on for her Bachelor’s Degree at the prestigious Regent University College of Science and technology in Accra, Ghana where she acquired a first class in Economics with Computing (2013-2017). She is a purpose driven lady and an exceptional leader.
She is a career woman and also an entrepreneur. She underwent a short Graduate Trainee Program at Ardova Plc. (formerly known as Forte Oil) (2017-2018) after which she observed her NYSC at wnm limited in Lagos State (2018-2019) where she was retained. She eventually moved on to work at a Digital Agency called Midland Digital Solutions where she functioned as the Project/Operations Manager. Tioluwani is the Business Lead & Creative Director of Events by J3 with business focus in events planning, décor and management. She plans, decorates and manages all kinds of events such as social events (weddings, birthday parties), corporate events etc. She is also the founder of Nihmee’s Organics which is a skin and hair care brand. She has launched some of her products such as African Black Soap, Whipped Shea Butter, Carrot oil, Coconut Oil and many others.
She is passionate about helping the underprivileged (men, women, children) and impacting her world positively. She is also an advocate for Women & youth empowerment. She is an aspiring Relationship Coach and Child Psychologist. She also aspires to own an orphanage home for the less privileged.Tioluwani is an alumna of CBN Entrepreneurship Development Centre where she studied entrepreneurial and business management sponsored by Central Bank of Nigeria. She is also an alumna of PAWEN. She was one of the 150 women shortlisted all over Africa for the first cohort of Pan African Women Empowerment Network(PAWEN) an aspiring entrepreneurs program.
She is a March 8th Initiative (Friends of Prof) awardee, an entrepreneurship initiative created to inspire and promote communal, entrepreneurial and public-spirited endeavors in Nigeria.
Tioluwani is also a singer and song-writer, who is passionate for God and humanity. She is happily married to Opeyemi Gregory.
Secretary
With her 15 years post-call experience, Olajumoke Caxton-Martins, a University of Ibadan trained lawyer; who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005 has served in various capacities ranging from secretarial administration to courtroom litigation and commercial practice. She holds a Master’s degree in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa from the University of Western Cape, South Africa, and certificates in Philanthropy (University of Stanford) and Business Skills Competency (London School of Business and Finance).
As an Associate trainer in the Nigerian institute of Training and Development, she teaches life application skills and human capacity development through her training outfit- Life Mastery Academy. She thrills her readers and listeners through radio, factual short stories and simple business articles hence emphasizing her prowess as an established writer and editor.
Through "Dream Catchers", a productivity coaching program targeted at budding entrepreneurs; she motivates, coaches and mentors. In her spare time, she hones her skill as a fashionpreneur by creatively directing Affordable Apparels by Sapphire, a fashion outfit which deals in interactive indigenous fashion.
Financial Secretary
Dr. Lola Ayo-Fashida is an award-winning Finance and Management Consultant, an author, Inspirational Leader, and transformational coach whose passion is in life improvement and financial advancement.
She is the Lead Consultant of Lolyan Consults and a member of twelve professional institutions within and outside Nigeria.
Lola is the convener of Finance and Investment South West Summit, a PAWEN Coach, and a faculty member of New Nation Business Academy.
She anchors a radio program, “Moment to Learn With Lola” (MTLWL) where she teaches life principles and skills for making lives better on Diamond FM 101.1 at the University of Ibadan. Lola is married to Ayo-Fashida and blessed with children.
Treasurer
Temitayo Oluyege was born in the quiet city of Akure, Ondo State. She grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State, and went back to Ondo State to study Industrial Chemistry at the prestigious Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (2009-2013). She had her Masters degree in Analytical Chemistry at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (2015-2017) and she has had various trainings in Entrepreneurship and Business Management (including the Ibadan Entrepreneurs Business School, Handong Global University, South Korea, among others).
Project Coordinator
Tolu Alade is an erudite scholar, a lecturer, a teacher, and an agroprenuer. She is the Creative Director of PASSION EDUCARE a subsidiary of TN'T Enterprise. The Enterprise covers Educational Consult, Book Club, Coaching Centre, Business Support Service and a Business Centre.
Tolu Alade is passionate about knowledge upgrade, self-development and impacting her world positively. She objectively seeks to expands her horizon and that is why her quest and pursuit for academic excellence is progressive. She had her first degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Agricultural Economics and Extension and further bagged a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan. Her desire for a paradigm shift and development in educational system in Nigeria spurred her to acquiring a post graduate degree in Teacher Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Management from the Premier University of Ibadan and she would not stop in the journey till she acquires her PHD and gets to her acme. She visualizes a new world in the Educational Sector in which policies tailored towards education will be goal oriented and favorable. She has keen interest in issues that are related to unemployment having experienced pangs of unemployment and walked in the same path for years.
She is passionate about issues that focuses on girl child, women and the vulnerable people. She has invested resources in coaching and mentoring teenagers in churches. She has years of experience in Youth Advocacy, Leadership and Governance, Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment. She worked with Centre for Enterprise Development and Action Research (CEDAR), Ibadan as Program Officer, EDUWATCH Consult and Research Centre in Abuja as Research Officer.
She is an advocate for change. She has worked with several NGOs, CBOs and she has also been a part of several trainings, seminars, conferences and workshops on relevant issues of interest. Her passion for change also made her to volunteer for different NGOS. She worked on SDG projects by activating the goals in schools and families in Nigeria by World Largest Lesson in partnership with United Nations and UNICEF, just to mention a few.
She was awarded a certificate in Digital Marketing by Fate Foundation in collaboration with Facebook in 2016. She has certification in Business and Leadership Mentoring Program by PAMLEAD in 2017.
She loves writing, reading, creative thinking, networking, travelling and sightseeing. She is a wife, a mother, nation builder and a lover of God.
